THE POWER OF SHARED BOOK READING
The American Academy of Pediatrics emphasizes that reading together with young children creates positive interactions and weaves language into daily life. Dr. Perri Klass, leading author of an AAP policy statement, encourages caregivers to integrate books into a child’s daily routine, especially at bedtime, to strengthen bonds and support brain development.
