My ASL ABC Cards
4.5X5.5 set of ASL ABC cards you can place in a photobook to create your own ASL ABC book. ( Photo books are often found at Dollar stores. You might need to trim images to fit- but we have left room for this.)
When families asked for an ABC book- we collaborated with Deaf educators and the feeling was mixed if this was a good idea. Hearing Parents want English and ASL to always nicely match up. ASL is a different language. English and ASL are not always going to match up nicely.
So we decided to create our DOG DAYS book which IS a Deaf Culture way to learn your ASL ABC Handshapes. (It’s adorable- if you don’t have one yet- be sure to add one to your cart! ABC Stories are FUN!)
Yet parents and educators who are trying to help deaf children be fluent in BOTH languages still felt there was a NEED for these resources. Traditional ABC resources created with ONLY English in mind were not serving Deaf children’s needs. So we created our ABC Poster which is a FREE Digital Download to help bridge the gap between these two languages. (If you don’t already- add that to your cart too!)
Still some families wanted MORE interactive resources- so be sure to check out our Flashcards! ( There are 3 activities that you can play with them! And they have 3 videos attached to help teach the signs and concepts of each card.)
We hope you enjoy these ASL ABC cards. We are using this download as a fund raiser to help us attend professional conferences. Thank you for your support!
Don’t miss ASL ABC writing pages!
